Glint Solar appoints Plan A founder Lubomila Jordanova to its Board of Directors
OSLO, NORWAY. 8 September 2026. Glint Solar, a leading AI-powered software platform
for utility-scale solar and energy storage development, today announced the appointment of
Lubomila Jordanova, founder of carbon accounting platform Plan A and co-founder of the
Greentech Alliance, to its Board of Directors. The appointment comes as Glint Solar accelerates
its global expansion amid increasing pressure on solar and storage developers to identify
viable projects faster and navigate increasingly complex grid, land and permitting constraints.
Glint Solar’s AI-powered SaaS platform helps utility-scale solar and storage developers to
identify viable land much faster by simplifying complex grid, site and permitting processes. By
turning geospatial and regulatory data into clear insights in hours rather than weeks, the
platform helps developers identify constraints, assess feasibility and prioritize the strongest
opportunities earlier. Glint Solar estimates its platform can cut total utility-scale project
development timelines in half – from an average of seven years to around three and a half –
while helping reduce the number of speculative or immature projects entering already
congested development pipelines and grid queues.
Jordanova is one of Europe’s leading climate-tech entrepreneurs, with first-hand experience
building and scaling a global sustainability software business. She founded Plan A in 2017 and
grew the carbon accounting and decarbonization platform to serve more than 1,500
companies worldwide, including BMW, Visa and Chloé, before its acquisition by Nasdaq-listed
Diginex in January 2026, where she served as CEO. She also co-founded the Greentech Alliance,
a global community connecting thousands of climate-tech companies with investors and
advisors, and has been recognized as an Obama Foundation Leader, MIT Innovator Under 35
Europe and Forbes 30 Under 30.
In her new role, Jordanova will draw on her experience scaling an international climate-tech
software business to support Glint Solar’s next phase of growth, advising the company on
global expansion, commercial strategy and scaling its platform across new markets.
