Bankable from Day One: Glint Solar Now Integrates with SolarAnywhere

At Glint Solar, we believe accuracy shouldn’t be reserved for the final stages of a solar project. It should guide decisions from the moment you start looking at a site. That’s why we’re announcing a new integration: Glint Solar now supports SolarAnywhere as an irradiance and weather data source.

Why This Matters

Using conservative assumptions or default data in early-stage development often means:

  • Spending time and budget on sites that won’t perform
  • Overlooking strong opportunities due to underestimated yield

Now, your entire team, including development, engineering, and finance, can work from the same high-quality data source from day one. It improves alignment, reduces risk, and supports better project decisions throughout the development process.

What This Unlocks in Glint Solar

Previously, Glint Solar supported three irradiance and weather data sources. With SolarAnywhere now integrated into Glint Solar, users gain access to finance-grade data for project design and evaluation–streamlining workflows and improving confidence from the outset.

If you’re a SolarAnywhere customer, you can now:

  • Use your API key or upload .csv files directly into Glint
  • Run yield simulations using SolarAnywhere TMY data
  • Compare SolarAnywhere results with Glint’s other supported datasets
  • Export reports including:
    • Annual GHI, DHI, DNI, and Plane of Array Irradiance (PoAI)
    • Monthly energy yield
    • Hourly irradiance heatmaps

This allows you to apply trusted, bankable data from the start well before final modeling or investor review.

About SolarAnywhere

For more than 25 years, Clean Power Research® has provided on-demand access to SolarAnywhere satellite-based irradiance data, trusted globally by leading solar developers and financial institutions for project evaluation and financing.

SolarAnywhere® provides satellite-based irradiance and weather data uses advanced cloud detection algorithms and a physics-based approach that accounts for seasonal and regional variability. The SolarAnywhere data model is built entirely from high-resolution satellite imagery and modeled weather inputs, without any reliance on ground station data, ensuring globally consistent and unbiased results.

Its accuracy, however, is validated against a global network of high-quality ground measurements, demonstrating industry-leading performance: within ±4.5% annually at 95% confidence (data version 4.0).
